FIREBIRD

A sandhill crane appearing to stalk through a sea of fire as it works its way across a field. Standing up to 5 feet tall, the imposing bird, native to North America, is known for its cackling call and massive migratory gatherings. Sometimes upwards of a half million birds will gather in the same location, a spectacle of which is as breathtaking as it is rare.

FIREBIRD captures the endurance of a bird which can travel upwards of 300 miles a day while migrating across the continent.
